Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reach out to any of the elders, there’s nothing more that we would love to do than answer any questions you have about Jesus, the Bible, or salvation. Here is how we would define the gospel of Jesus Christ. God-Man-Christ-Response.

The good news of Jesus begins with God, who created everything and therefore has the authority to rule over us. God is loving, merciful, and forgiving, but He is also holy and just, meaning He does not ignore sin. Man rebelled against God beginning with Adam and Eve, and every person since has sinned and fallen short of God’s standard, deserving both physical and spiritual death and eternal separation from Him. Yet God, in His mercy, sent Jesus Christ to save sinners. Jesus lived perfectly, died on the cross in our place to bear the punishment for sin, and rose again from the dead, proving He is Lord and Savior. Because of this, God calls us to respond with repentance and faith: turning away from sin and trusting completely in Jesus alone for forgiveness and righteousness. When we believe in Him, our sins are credited to Christ, and His righteousness is credited to us, restoring us to a right relationship with God.

  • You can find our sermons on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

  • We would love to talk to you about this! The best way to start this process would be to tell one of the elders at one of our worship gatherings. We will then set up a time to meet with you to hear your testimony, understanding of the gospel, and answer any questions you might have.

  • We practice church membership to help us know who we are accountable to, for, and with. By nature of our size, we offer a membership class on an as needed basis. To initiate this process, please find one of the elders, and we will schedule a time to meet.

  • We seek to sing music that is theologically rich, simple in composition, and able to be sung well congregationally. We sing a diverse array of songs that range from the early church to modern.

Here is a Spotify and a YouTube playlist of all the songs we sing.

  • Yes! At GBC, we welcome all ages in our morning service and love the noise and family discipleship it encourages!

If you would like to check-in your child into the nursery, we have a nursery (0-4yr) every Sunday. Be sure to check-in before service at the front door. Also, a nursing room is provided for nursing moms during the service.

For youth, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, students grades 6-12 are invited for fellowship and Bible study. Please reach out to the elders for the meeting details.

  • We are part of the historic Christian tradition, evangelical Christianity, and part of the reformed free church traditions. We strongly embrace the doctrines of the Protestant Reformation. While we currently are not part of any denomination or convention, we do certainly acknowledge and appreciate our Christian, evangelical, reformed, puritan, and free church traditions.

  • We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are signs that mark out the local church. Therefore, we partake in the Lord’s Supper every week as part of our Sunday morning worship service.

  • We really appreciate your desire to serve our church, but we reserve the opportunity to serve for members only. Before anyone can serve in Grace Kids, they must first become a member and also pass a MinistrySafe background check. Any member interested in serving anywhere in the church can approach an elder at any time.

  • There are several reasons why our church has returned to using a bulletin. The bulletin functions as a worship guide for the whole service. It has all the songs, scriptures, order of service, and announcements. By using sheet music, the congregational singing benefits, along with the added benefit of there being fewer technical errors. And possibly most importantly, we love for this to be a guide for worship and discipleship outside the Sunday gathering. By taking the bulletin home, our families are able to easily have family worship together by picking one song, one scripture, and praying together in their home.
